The Unacceptable Uncle

Lance, a senior in High School and the son of a homophobic father, is orphaned when his parents die in an automobile accident. Only then, he comes to know his one living relative, an uncle whose very existence was hidden by his father. He soon learns that having a gay uncle isn’t the only secret that his father kept hidden. Lance turns to his godparents, the parents of his best friend Jeff, in whom he has far more trust. But when he and Jeff’ become aware of their emerging feelings for one another, the Baterson’s prejudices, intolerance and homophobia turn on Lance, forcing him to rely on his “unacceptable” uncle.
