The Poetic and Short Story Literary Works of William Thomas
By: William Thomas
The Poetic and Short Story Literary Works of William Thomas is William Thomas’ second volume of literary works. He exhibits more maturation and diversity and now shows a smooth continuity in the three short stories contained within this volume of work as he deftly moves the pen from lifetime experiences to fiction and, finally, to a satirical take on “Little Red Riding Hood.”
The deep emotions and strong feelings displayed in the author’s former volume of poems are shown here as he relates to a diverse array of current events that are affecting America at this time. Thomas hopes you will receive as much satisfaction reading as he did writing.
About the Author
William Thomas resides in Uniondale, New York. Though not currently active in youth and senior programs, he has been involved in his community. In 2007 he paid for and dedicated a granite memorial to the Tuskegee Airmen, 761st all-black Tank Battalion (that assisted in the rescue of General McAuliffe at the “Battle of the Bulge” and was one of the units that spearheaded the drive across Germany aiding in the liberation of three Nazi concentration camps) and the Buffalo Soldiers in Eisenhower Park located in East Meadow, New York. William has taken joy in giving back to his country, New York City, his community, and his family.
He has lots more to do and say before he exits stage right.
