My intention with this book is to show you that the problem is not you. We are merely having a human experience in our modern world, and it is this that we struggle with. No matter how much we dress it up, or talk it down, the chemical changes in our bodies are happening, and the energetics of our cells are suffering deprivation. The modern world has sped things up, making many amazing things possible. It has also increased the pressure to make better decisions faster, leading to overthinking, chronic stillness and stress, and energy misdirection. The things we are taught that serve us intellectually make sense in our mind, but it is our bodies being left behind. It’s time now to flip the switch. To regain the innate spark housed within our bodies and to allow the awareness of energetic balance to build. Like all good things, this is a journey. It will lead on to better things. About the Author: Since discovering chronic illness in 2008, Dana has been on a quest to learn how energy works in the body, mind and spirit. Dana graduated with a BA (Hons) from the University of Adelaide, is a CELTA certified ESL Teacher, has trained in the Polestar Pilates method, is a Certified Dance and Movement Therapist, a Qi Gong Practitioner, and is considered one of Australia’s foremost Argentine Tango specialists (the Tango Butterfly). She has more than a decade of experience as a successful manager of people and projects, and as a corporate trainer. A lifelong student of dance in all forms, Dana has also studied martial arts, yoga, meditation, hypnosis, intuitive arts and a variety of energy healing modalities involving chakra clearing and meridian systems. She exemplifies a balance of skills in body (movement), mind (intellect) and spirit (emotional intelligence) sought after by many, yet acquired by so few in this modern world. Dana is considered a gifted and generous teacher, trainer and mentor, with many accomplishments in these fields both professionally and personally.
