Charles Montgomery Skinner was an American writer, editor, dramatic and art critic, mostly known as a collector and rewriter of North American folklore. He published collections of myths, legends, histories and oral narrative found inside the United States and across the world. “The Death Of Umatilla” is a short story, entered in the collection “Myth and legends of our own land”.
