The crash of Trans World Airlines Flight 903 was one of the worst commercial aviation accidents in history. 16 nations were represented among its passengers. One of them was an Egyptian movie star who was in transit to Switzerland for a vacation from filming. Another was a Gulf Oil manager who was in charge of production in the Eastern Hemisphere. Of the 55 passengers on the airliner, none survived. The plane attempted to return to King Farouk Airport in Cairo. It was forced into a crash landing some 65 miles from the Egyptian capitol. My book looks at the crew members, i.e. a pilot who had been with TWA for 20 years, and 5 others who were from the United States. It also looks at the performance record of the Lockheed Constellation and the causes of an international air disaster.
