Homicide Detective Rage and Patrolman Jones were volunteered to help Bunko with a case. Bunko needed unfamiliar faces to play the marks in this sting operation. They are told of their assignments in a meeting held in the non-existent but infamous conference room #7 in the basement.
The Scam is charging people false hotel damages fees, just as they are leaving town. Businesses know their sales people are having false hotel charges billed. Most false charges are buried in credit card bills that few people ever look at.
Each officer is given a two-day crash course on the specific products their firm sells. They must learn enough about the products to make the sales’ appointments that were scheduled weeks in advance. They are expected to sell and take orders for their company.
Was it the luck of the draw that determined which officer would sell which products?
Their purpose is to bring the big boss out into the open, who is overseeing the Scam
