Glenn Beck (born February 10, 1964, Mount Vernon, Washington, U.S.) is an American conservative political commentator and television and radio personality, perhaps best known for hosting the talk show Glenn Beck (2009–11) on the Fox News Channel. He is the current host of a talk-radio show, “The Glenn Beck Program”, which is now on four hundred stations across the country. He is also the author of numerous bestselling books. Beck has created one of the most controversial and lucrative media brands in the talk show business.

Beck rose to being a nationally syndicated television and radio host due to his knack for creating controversy. His radio program reached No. 1 following his coverage of the highly disputed Presidential election of 2000. After a brief stint on CNN, Beck began his television program on Fox News, where he continued to embrace the Tea Party movement. Following the inauguration of President Barack Obama, Beck became one of America’s most important conservative commentators, becoming the voice for the modern mainstream conservatives. Evidence of his wide-ranging influence can be found in his battle against the liberal political organization ACORN and the success of his advocacy program, the 9-12 Project.

This is meant to be a short and concentrated read about Glenn Beck.
