The Tinsel Tots are adventuresome young children who are always ready, willing, and happy to help in any situation. Loving their friends and simply being children, enjoying the Christmas season in the perfect winter setting.
They love helping Mrs. Claus whenever they can, caring for their pony and Santa’s incredible reindeer. They are often busy with Santa’s elves and having fun with all the joys that Christmas brings, often shopping, caroling, going on sleigh rides, and all the fun they can have in the snow! They love sharing all these adventures in their lives with love for all.
These adventures are from memories of my past childhood, spending wonderful winter vacations staying at a gingerbread chalet with family and friends in New Hampshire. The snow would sometimes be two feet high, and we would still wish for more.
At night, watching the snow slowly drifting down upon the trees and ground all around us was such a wonder, sparkling like diamonds in the soft spotlights.
We would go shopping on our snowmobiles or explore the wonderful wooded trails with them. We would pack lunches and insulated jugs filled with warm drinks and stop at a scenic area to enjoy nature. What fun!
We would watch the deer, the rabbits, the winter birds, and the squirrels. We would make snow angels and snowmen. Adventuresome like the Tinsel Tots, only in reality.
This story tries to stimulate the imagination in children and bring out the best in us to relive the wonder of Christmas that we once lived in our own childhood.
