Teneriffe just wants to be a United States Marine, but first he has to make it past the drill instructors. Their cruel and sometimes immature tactics dont impress him, but hes willing to jump through hoops to achieve his dreamthat is until he pops positive for marijuana on the Marine recruits initial urinalysis.

Now, not only is he dealing with the strenuous training all Marines face, but hes also become a target. He must endure a series of outrageous interviews from his superior officers hell bent on a full confession. Theyll do anything to get him to profess guilt, from fear tactics to humiliation. He navigates literal and figurative obstacle courses to stay on track.

Teneriffes experiences range from the brutally funny to heavy metal violence. Still, he wont stop, no matter what. Hell show up his drill instructors. Hell beat his training into submission. Will he give in to lurid accusations if it earns him a spot serving his country? Surrounded on all sides by enemies, Teneriffe must decide how far hes willing to go to become a Marine.
