Spiritual Warfare For Africa? is a book written for every Christian interested in the ministry of intercession. Africa is choking with myths of spiritual warfare because people are aware of the heavy demonic infestation suffered by loved ones, friends, and acquaintances. There is hardly an adult in Sub-Saharan Africa who does not know a single person who is demon possessed or under spiritual bondage. This writer seeks to draw the focus of intercessors and ordinary believers to a broader understanding of spiritual warfare. The classical picture of spiritual warriors dressed as exorcists does a dis-service to the Kingdom of God because spiritual warfare is more than prayer. Everything a child of God does or says is a part of it. All humans are either gathering with Christ or scattering people from Christ in their daily interactions. No one is neutral because when a person has not chosen to gather with Christ, their default spiritual warfare position is with those who are scattering people away from Christ. Spiritual warfare is love in actions such as philanthropy, education, good business, politics; but it is also, prayer, fasting, evangelism and a commitment to all the spiritual disciplines the Bible illustrates. Africa can benefit from balanced approaches to spiritual warfare and this book is a small part of that.
