Secret Affair

Steve’s looks were so rugged; the sight made Morgan’s heart beat just a little faster. The other man came to work for the advertising firm six months earlier and since he’d walked through the door, he held Morgan’s interest. From an early age, Morgan knew he was different when it came to his sexual orientation. No matter how beautiful or sexy the woman looked trying to gain his attention, he couldn’t find anything she might have attractive to him. He’d hid his secret for years and no one was the wiser.
He noticed Steve watching him on several occasions with secretive glances and an anticipated eagerness filling his eyes that he failed to hide. This made Morgan believe that Steve thought along the same lines as he did when it came to choosing a sexual partner. He hoped his assumptions were correct because Morgan found the prospect of a relationship with Steve exhilarating. There had been a long dry spell for Morgan since he’d had anything to do with anyone and now he felt it was time to expand his horizons.
He thought back to when the company bowled in the tournaments. On different occasions, Steve would touch Morgan’s arm in an overlong caress, instead of a casual, fleeting touch. Shaking hands with Steve after they’d won a match brought flutters of awareness racing through Morgan experiencing his warm, firm grip and how he continued to hold his hand longer than necessary.
The only drawback to pursuing a relationship with Steve was that Jones-Smith Advertising Company they worked for had a policy strictly forbidding any affairs between employees. Morgan knew the rules and always abided by them, that is until he met Steve. His outlook then changed and he started making plans for the future.
