Hi Students. My name is Kathryn-Magnolia Feeley and I am an Australian lawyer. I have seen a lot of kids who have been victims of school bullying and I have seen how they are destroyed and injured. So now I am here to help you.

This series of Apps is to help you deal with bullying at school and to tell you your rights. Every day you will be able to get important information. This will empower you.

You have to be safe at school. That is the law in every democratic country. You are stuck there for your education so if you feel unsafe at school, I am here to tell you how to deal with it – and get justice.

Your school has a duty of care to make sure you are in a safe environment. If you are not safe at school, you can sue the Education Department, the religious organization that owns the school or sue the school itself if it is a private school.

If you tell your teacher what is going on and your teacher does nothing about it, then, that teacher, as well as the school, has failed in a duty of care towards you.

You have to feel safe and protected in the school environment.

This series will tell you your rights.

Some kids who take an Education Department to court have been awarded many thousands of dollars. Recently, one kid was awarded over $1 million dollars because he was injured mentally by the bullying that was going on at school. The teachers had ignored it and that poor kid suffered dreadfully.
