The Police are giving rides in patrol car to kids for many reasons.
Patrol is short cars and patrolmen two days before the program starts. Detective Rage is reassigned as a patrolman. She will ride with patrolman Jones and kids.
Jack is their first ride along. He is in the program because of his speeding and how he handled himself in the court. Anna is in because of a school counselor feels it will help her in school.
The first day they go over the rules of the ride and then start on their normal patrol.
They see a speeder, but he is too far away, and it is too dangerous to try and stop him safely. They radio ahead but he is at the limit when he is stopped for a minor reason and then let go.

After a donut stop, a bank holdup results in Rage spraying cement into a shooter but never hitting him with a slug. They are arrested.

Back in patrol, car vandals attack Rage and she decks two of them for the police to arrest.

The second day Rage drives the freeway and follows a reckless driver to her hair solon. They give her a page of traffic tickets and tows her car away.

They are the first at an accident. A kid wrapped his car around a pole. He does nor survive and the ride along kids experience blood and death as they help stop traffic and watch what is going on.

Jack now looks differently at driving. Anna handles the events very well and Rage will send her police scholar ship papers when she finishes school.
