The London Monopoly Pub Crawl

This is a chance to get to know London and visit six very interesting pubs situated on or adjacent to the London Monopoly board layout. By visiting these pubs it allows you to visit some of London's famous landmarks, tourist attractions and some nice historic areas. All the pubs recommended in this pub crawl have been independently visited and assessed. No payment has been made to include the pub in the crawl. Other pubs on the board sequence can be visited by using one of the other four Pub Crawls in this five part series.

We promote sensible drinking. Therefore, when visiting any of these pubs or taverns please enjoy yourselves and experience the pleasure they offer. Finally, in true Monopoly style, you don't need to be a 'Rich Uncle Pennybags' to drink in or at any of these pubs.

The Walk Itself:

This is a moderate and compact stroll of about 45 minutes walking duration. The stroll will take you from Hyde Park Corner to Piccadilly Circus and covers a total of about 2.0 miles in distance. The crawl includes six pubs to visit on route and takes you through some of London's richest neighbourhoods, past some upmarket clothing retailers and famous London stores. It also takes in some very pleasurable well known London buildings, parks and squares.

All the pubs visited offer a good beer selection and serve food.

Children are not allowed in the last two pubs, so this crawl is for adults only.

A couple of the pubs have limited access due to steep staircases, so wheelchair users would struggle to complete the route.

This is a walk for Weekdays and Saturdays only due to two of the more architecturally interesting pubs with their classic interiors being closed on Sundays.

The Monopoly itinerary includes both Park Lane and Mayfair (The Dark Blue squares) located on side four. Also visited are both Pall Mall (Purples) and Vine Street (Oranges) on Side two and Piccadilly and Coventry Street (The Yellows) on side three.

Some of the pubs are close together so in between pub visits it's worth taking the time to explore the nearby attractions that have been identified.
