Kristi E. Moore, also known as Miss Daisy, was just twenty eight years old, and studying for her Master of Science Degree when she discovered a lump in her breast. She received the devastating news that she was suffering from early stage breast cancer. Determined to fight, and to continue with her education, Kristi underwent surgery, followed by an intensive course of chemotherapy. It was whilst recovering from surgery that she began to write about her thoughts and feelings, and to document each stage of her harrowing journey. This short book, is the result.

Kristi was given the wonderful news that she was clear of cancer in 2005.

She also graduated in May of the same year, and received her Master’s of Science Degree. Kristi hopes that this short account of her diagnosis and subsequent recovery, will give the reader greater insight into breast cancer, and the treatment options available. More importantly, she hopes to offer comfort to fellow sufferers by demonstrating that the disease can be beaten, and normal life resumed. Check it out!
