Introduction of new technologies and their applications to neuroblastoma diagnosis, treatment, and therapy assessment are explained. Ornithine decarboxylase and polyamines are novel targets for therapeutic intervention. The effectiveness of chemotherapy with oral irinotecan and temozolomide is explained.
