It is the year 2113. United in the Solar Union, humanity faces the last challenge – space! Colonies on the Moon and Mars are part of every day life, and scientific outposts have been established on some of the larger planets’ moons. Spaceships are traveling from Earth to the Moon and between the inner planets. Approximately ten billion people live on Earth and 250 million on the Moon and the Mars colonies. Prospectors are searching the asteroid belt and the smaller moons of the Solar System for raw materials, and manned spaceships have reached the outer edges of the Solar System.

Suddenly, the Space Fleet outpost, Triton Base, received a strange radio signal from the large planetoid Quaoar.

A scout ship of the Solar Union, under the command of Major Bill Davis, landed on the planetoid and found alien artifacts in an underground cave. They also discovered a fear-inducing, seemingly frozen strange creature. Suddenly, the alien awoke and Major Davis and his crew had to run for their lives.

Through extremely strong, bio-electric, mental emissions, the humans received fragments of its thoughts, manifesting themselves as ‘Globuster’.

One crew member remained behind to fight the very aggressive alien and was killed in the process. The Globuster exited the cave and in its rage, destroyed the scout ship. The Globuster also turned its rage against Davis and his partner, Caroline O’Tubian. At first, the Globuster was unsuccessful, as it could only see within the infrared spectrum. Davis and his female companion were invisible to the alien in their space suits. However, the Globuster made use of its body aura detection sense and attacked Davis and Caroline. Much to his surprise, Davis’ weapons proved to be useless against the Globuster’s personal energy protection shield.

Just in time, members of the Triton Hawks Squadron arrived and rescued the two survivors. The Globuster escaped with a small ship, but managed to activate Quaoar’s planetoid propulsion system, directing it on a collision course with Triton! This puts Triton Base in Danger …
