Patsy MacDonald is a first-time author who resides in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She was raised Roman Catholic. Married to her husband Peter for thirty years, they have two daughters Melissa and Amanda. Her own experience with death and healing has led her to volunteer with children and adults in the bereavement field, to journey with the dying, and to become involved in the Pastoral ministry in her parish. She has attended many Catholic women conferences.
In our lives, we are given countless moments of grace: precious gifts that can change the direction of our lives if we take the time to understand what we are being given. I believe what many people call intuition is actually God’s whispers, filling our hearts with what He knows we need. I have always loved Jesus and wanted to follow whatever path He set in front of me, but it wasn’t until a young boy in my neighbourhood died that I realized it wasn’t going to be that easy. On the night Adam died, I saw both him and Jesus in a vision, and I knew my life would never be the same. If God whispered something in your ear, would you slow down long enough to listen to what He was saying?
“In this beautiful and candid account of her spiritual journey, Patricia challenges us to see God’s hand in each new
encounter. Nothing is coincidental. This book is very timely as we are all called to conversion, to evangelize and to work in the Lord’s vineyard.” —Deacon Jim McLevey
“Through gentle, generous words, Ms. MacDonald introduces her readers to an honest, tender story of self-discovery and love for Jesus Christ.” —Genevieve Graham, author of Under the Same Sky, Sound of the Heart
