My Life-long Love Affair with Sport

Don’t bend; don’t water it down; don’t try to make it logical; don’t edit your own soul according to the fashion. Rather, follow your most intense obsessions mercilessly.”

My life-long love affair with sport.

Just reminiscing about and sharing some memories (South African) from the long-distant past early on (and right at the beginning of) "the writing journey".

"The important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part; just as the important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle**.**

The essential thing is not to have conquered, but to have fought well".

- Baron Pierre de Coubertin (Founder of the Modern Olympic Games)

And my writing journey has been "more than a struggle", perhaps it's an "Odyssey" over the past nearly three long decades!

PPS
