Stories of justice, hope, love and peace...or at least journeys towards the pursuit of all of them!

This ebook follows on from A NEW HEART(also available at Kobo)

"I am bigger than any anything that can happen to me. All these things, sorrow, misfortune and suffering, are outside my door. I am in the house and I have the key."
- Charles Fletcher Lummis

"Man is made or unmade by himself. By the right choice he ascends. As a being of power, intelligence and love... and the lord of his own thoughts, he holds the key to every situation."
- James Allen (author of the classic 'As a Man Thinketh')
*
"There is neither east nor west, tribe nor ethnicity, male or female, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist. Christian nor Jew. There is only a God-filled humanity."

"Let each one of us build bridges rather than barriers, openness rather than walls. Let us look at distant horizons together in a spirit of acceptance, helpfulness, co-operation and peace. Let our leaders look at the future with a vision - to see things not as they are, but what they could one day become."

- craig

WALLS

“Man is a great wall builder
The Berlin Wall
The Wailing Wall of Jerusalem
But the wall most impregnable
Has a moat
flowing with fright
around his heart
A wall without windows for the spirit to breeze through
without a door for love to walk in.”

- OSWALD MTSHALI, Soweto (South African) poet
from the compelling book, ‘My Traitor’s Heart’ by Rian Malan (published by Vintage 1990)

“Freedom has no walls.”

"Let us tear down the walls of our hearts in order to tear down the walls of concrete."

“When love endures, hope inevitably follows”
- “the writer”

FRAMEWORK

Just got this idea today 5am. Impulsive or WHAT!!!
Here are my notes in point form. Elaborate (big word) and include in the story (stories)
Thoughts on SPIRIT

Whilst we can and should celebrate diversity of peoples and cultures, let’s try in some small way to break down barriers between people: economic, cultural , political and religious boundaries

"The power of love to transcend any circumstances ...and knowing that you have made a difference keeps you strong."

"Your goal in life is to create the perfect conditions for the full flowering of your essential self."

Thoughts on God:
A new “bigger” and ONE God for a new world (Neale Donald Walsch)????!!!

“I truly believe in the triumph of the human spirit; so love writing about and sharing stories of 'seemingly ordinary' (what's that?) people and the resilience of humanity.”

Former Archbishop of Cape Town, South Africa Desmond Tutu once said these wise and inspiring words: "We have come to a time in the history of the world, where we need to rediscover the path to peace, and the path to peace can never be war. This pathway is lined with the concept of co-existence and co-inhabitance of the world."

"A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends and when the soul of a nation, long supressed, finds utterance."
- Jahrulal Nehru, first Prime Minister of India

"Happiness is a child's smile...but one enhanced way brighter through being reared in a society living in equality, solidarity and harmony."

“When love endures, hope inevitably follows”
