After Archer and Aradia arrive at Sundori for a long-awaited visit, King Herron tells them that uninvited guests from outer space have landed and set up camp in the wilderness. Because of the unusual nature of Sundari and Archer and Aradia’s advanced skills, King Herron sends them to meet the leader of the star fleet to extend an invitation to come to the city. King Herron hopes to convince his uninvited guests to make their home here and protect his kingdom with their starships.

While flying Sundari's kantors on the way to the intruder’s camp, Archer and Aradia’s escort lands in Lokwanda to introduce them to some of the animals that live in Sundari. That's when they discover why Sundari’s crystal master gave them a tour of the kingdom in her crystal ball before they met with King Herron. Sundari is an animal refuge that hosts every animal known to mankind, including animals from the distant past and those brought from distant planets.

Archer and Aradia’s simple task becomes more dangerous after Aradia finds a charm in the river that identifies the king’s uninvited guests. King Herron has sent them to meet the leader of the star fleet who kidnapped the wife and child of Volka, leader of the Mother Star’s Starship Warriors. Will they be able to save Volka’s family or are they doomed to wander the universe with their kidnappers?
