I sat by the bus window, watching the blue ocean which appeared once in a while. I would type some observations in my phone diary, which I meant to be a private journal. But months later it occurred to me these musings could be stretched into a short, insightful travel journal, for whatever they are worth. While I have exaggerated one or two incidents and deliberately turned decent human beings into caricatures, in overall I have remained as faithful to the details as any dignified narrator should. So long the needle is faithful to the pore, I see no point being false to my audience.

This was originally written as my small, private journal as I traveled along the ocean, watching the beautiful scenery through the bus window. Months later, it occurred to me these sketches scribbled in a moving bus can make a short, amusing story for anyone who loves travel tales. As far as I am concerned, this was a perfect adventure.
