It was a beautiful day in the Kingdom Iaht and the young story book character named Jack-o had high hopes for the day. As he walked through the town he had seen in his mind earlier when he read the book, Helena, he dreamed of his own book. It had been years since the evil Lord Nefarious cast Jack-o out of his own story, away from his mother and father, leaving him with nothing more than a quest and a green amulet that allowed him to travel into whatever book he read aloud while he wore it. So he searched without knowing the name of his book nor where in all the worlds of stories it could be. Today he felt hopeful, as he walked toward the castle of Iaht that housed a great library called the Library of Bright Minds, that he would find his book and after all these years finally make it home. He enjoyed the sun and the shiny red apple he had pilfered as he walked toward the castle. Jack-o was happy at the ease of this operation, that is, until he felt something hit the back of his shoulder and his life became increasingly more difficult.
