This book of short essays (for that is really what it is) was from a much larger work that I no longer possess. Once upon a time I had a bad hair day and threw out every hand written manuscript I owned. At that point, HA/VE was one of them. I had started typing it out but only managed these twenty when I had my hissy fit. I've no idea now whether these were the best or not but they've all that remains of the original 50 essays. I hope you get something out of them and, if you happened to have worked in a recycling plant in early 2003 and came across a red notebook with this stuff in it, let me know if any of the others are any good.
