There are no tracks like Harley Tracks--41,000 miles alone across Vietnam to honor our veterans who fought and died there.

Two unique things about that ride; nobody had ever done it, and Mike didn't intend to do it when he went to Vietnam, either. But he felt an obligation that millions of others would have felt the same, and with a lot of faith, he took the opportunities to fulfill it.

In 2008, Mike Rinowski went to Vietnam for his first time; to have a Harley Davidson there was as unexpected as his job offer. When he met other riders, they told him "nobody rides alone around here." But the lack of a partner never stopped him. Between jobs, his joy rides out of Hanoi and Nha Trang turned into a quest that rolled into a journey. His free-spirited nature led him across a land that was once a battleground, now a land of beauty and welcome--and his faith guided him to a ride with a playful vengeance. He then crossed America with his Harley, and his journey ended with a joy ride through Canada four and a half years later. Not bad for an unexpected road trip!

Harley Tracks is unique. Readers connect on every level of emotion as Mike lays tracks from one end of Vietnam to the other--seven times. Tropical sunshine over the Mekong Delta burned layers of skin off his arms, he marveled at the lunar landscape in the north, and felt the solitude of monsoon rains, jungle, and battlegrounds on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. He partied with the HOG's of Hanoi and Saigon, children across the country cheered with him, and he received kindness from those who remembered the wrath of American firepower. But it was a bond with the spirits of his generation that gave the most powerful sensations.

Join Mike on the ride of a lifetime; learn that a ride 'simply' in memory of our fallen veterans wasn't enough--not on the land they saw last.
