Full-timing with Kids in the Perfect RV
Families now a days have grown up camping. We have had tents, pop-ups, travel trailers, fifth-wheels and many motorized recreational vehicles available while we grew up and many of us find the open road lifestyle a sort of call of nature.
Many of us want to hit the road, but don't know where to start, what to buy, what will it cost, how will we keep in touch with friends and family and what happens when we get sick or worse. In Full-timing with Kids in the Perfect RV, I try to answer those questions and more. My wife and I live full-timing in a motor home. I am also a Certified RV Inspector (think home inspector for RVs). I use my experience as well as that of families we have met on the road to discuss topics that young families with kids need to know when looking at entering the mobile lifestyle. Whether you are going to be stationary in an RV instead of a home or apartment or going to travel the country before you decide to settle down someone, there are things you need to know. I try to cover them here
Sit down and take some time to find out what you should consider prior to making the move. When you are ready, use the checklists to help make sure you know what you need and want. Then prior to purchasing, use another checklist to make sure you are getting the best rig for your money.
Enjoy the road for as long as you can.
