Elize has returned from her vacation in the Caribbean to be, once again, the trophy daughter and the trophy girlfriend. In a party in the Governor’s Mansion, who else is she and Gerald, her fiancé, to encounter but Jude and his fiancée, Tamara?
The secret here is that Jude and Elize had a chance encounter in the Caribbean as “Joey” and “Anna”. They parted ways after their wild adventure, and now has met each other again without their masks -- and with their significant others in tow. Jude has to make up a story about their being former classmates so Tamara will not get jealous. But that’s not the only secret.
The other secret here is that they aren’t the only ones who’d had illicit encounters. And the other two aren’t complaining at all when they are left to themselves while Jude and Elize “catch up” on old times.

EXCERPT
“WELL, I'LL BE damned,” Jude said. “This place is a regular fun house. Just full of surprises, isn't it?”
He looked at Elize and gave her a peck on the cheek. Everyone was so drunk that neither of them was too worried about someone seeing them or finding something weird in their appearance. Some of the couples were having raging arguments on the other side of the bar. The saloon was big enough to allow for a pretty good dispersion. Although there were several large knots of people, no one seemed to be too packed together. And if a person wanted to, there were still a few spaces that could allow for some solitude.
Jude scanned the room and then saw what he was looking for — Tamara sat against one of the far walls with Gerald, a pitcher of something between them. Jude and Elize made their way toward their partners.
“Well, how have you two made out?” Jude asked, cocking a questioning eye toward his wife-to-be.
“Absolutely wonderful, dear,” Tamara said. “Beyond words.”
Both Jude and Elize took a seat and poured themselves drinks.
“What is this?” Elize asked.
“I think it's some kind of mixed drink,” Gerald said. “I think it's supposed to be like a Long Island Iced Tea, but they seem to have the mix somewhat wrong. It was free though, so I'm not too worried about it.”
The four of them sipped their drinks in silence for a few moments while each eyed the crowd around them. People were drunk, very drunk. Some of the older gentlemen couldn't stand up without the help of their wives. Some of the wives were passed out in chairs next to their husbands. Some of the younger wives were on their young husbands’ laps with their tongues tied together in their mouths. It was certainly a spectacle to behold.
“I have a proposition for the group,” Gerald said after observation of his fiancée told him what he needed to know — that she and Jude had fucked again somewhere in the vicinity, and so he didn’t think she would mind what he was about to propose.
“Oh, really,” Jude said. “Concerning what, I wonder?”
Gerald glanced at Jude to see a devilish gleam in his eye, stopped for a moment to collect his thoughts, then charged forward. “Well, I think that we can all agree that there is a sexual dynamic between all four of us,” Gerald said. “Maybe excluding the males.”
“Excluding the males?” Tamara said. “Are you insulting Jude?” Then she winked to let Gerald know she was joking.
“Umm, excuse me?” Elize said. “What exactly is going on here?”
