All you need is a sewing machine or the time and patience to hand sew, and some imagination and toys are born. Add boxes, a utility knife and more toys are born. Add more stuff from around the house and you guessed it, more toys are born. The first 8 chapters are all about sewing toys; the last 5 chapters are about toys you can make mostly from stuff laying around the house.
I have had many fun filled hours over the years making small animal toys with my daughters. I wanted to share some of our various toys. I have written directions specifically to include gerbils, hamsters, mice, rats, chinchillas and guinea pigs, these directions are adaptable for other small animals as well. The great thing about most of these toys is that they can be made with things laying around the house, cereal boxes, toilet paper tubes, paper towel tubes, used envelopes, boxes that packages come in, you know most of the stuff either sitting around or it fills up the garbage can here is a new use for it.
I try to keep my e-Books short, simple, and fun. So have fun, play with your children, small animals and let your imagination have some fun. You can also find all sorts of fun stuff for chew toys at your local craft store.
