Breaking up is hard to do. This rule of thumb is even truer for a child going through a divorce of parents. Oftentimes, kids feel as if the divorce has hit them even harder than their parents.
When parents decide to file for divorce, they need to take necessary steps to protect their children from common divorce battle scars. Many of these scars follow kids long into adulthood, creating havoc in their own relationships in life. And, the sad part is that the majority of the battle scars didn’t have to be inflicted on these kids in the first place.
Disclaimer: This is an informational eBook written from a personal point-of-view. This eBook is in no way intended to be legal advice for anyone reading it. Any advice that sounds as if it's from a legal point of view is not intended to be so. It's simply a list of ten mistakes I've personally seen many people make, including my parents, myself and my ex-husband, while going through a divorce.
If you need legal advice, please contact a divorce attorney. Please use this eBook as a personal diary of sorts, to help you make good personal choices while going through your divorce.
