Njla broke up with jkull by leaving him in kpavogur, Iceland. She went to america and lived in Seattle, Washington for three years before she met brendan. Brendan became the love of her life. The destiny of njla and brendan's relationship was broken by jkull but her love for brendan will never be shattered. Jkull's destiny was chosen by njla. There's no reason for njla to continue living in Seattle, Washington. She decides to go back to kpavogur, Iceland.
