The author of this book was Chief Instructor of the County Surveyors Society of the UK. It was a haven for people who had the Autism called Asperger's Syndrome. Founded by William the Conqueror, it helped govern England in his absence. His duty was to govern the duchy of Normandy in France that he had inherited from his father. So he left England in the care of his half-brothers, Odo and Robert. They suffered a familial propensity to die early of suicide for no obvious reason. So the principal role of the Society was to keep them alive. It had to be for 20 years under the law. The result was together they devised a pedagogy of suicide avoidance and prevention. It allowed them to meet the 20 years rule. So, England became William's dynastic real estate on 25 December 1086. He turned his attention to conquering Wales in the same way too. But he died in 1087, so his son and heir, William II of England, kept the Society and pedagogy alive. And he thus proceeded to conquer Wales as his father had intended. Every later monarch of England and Wales kept the Society and pedagogy going to the 20th century. It was 'superceded' on 31 March 1997 by an Association of Directors.
Between 1992 and 1997, members of the society suffered incessant suicide ideations. This was due to the pressure placed on their legal competence by the United Nations. Hence, the Society appointed the author to instruct his fellow members in the pedagogy. He taught it only to colleagues employed in the same local government authority at first. Then others in England and Wales. Then, throughout the UK and Commonwealth.
Later that year he had to switch to using the internet. He also had to work evenings, weekends and holidays, instead of office hours. This was because all his colleagues left local government. He couldn't use the office intranet as they were not connected to it. This exposed him to requests for coaching from people in non-UK and Commonwealth countries. By mid-2000, he was so swamped with all this extra work, that he attempted suicide. So he began to manage his work better, to avoid severe sleep-deprivation again. He continued with the controlled extra work until he retired on his 65th birthday. Then he let it creep into his new-found leisure time too. The business of the Society was subject to the Official Secrets Acts 1911-89. That lapsed 25 years from the appointed day of the latter Act. So, he updated his knowledge and skills and devised an alternative form of haven. He called it the County Surveyors Society International Limited. And he registered it with the UK Government to make it official. Then, he wrote and published an autobiographical trilogy and compendium. They took slots #1, #2, #4 and #5 of the Amazon Bestsellers list in his genre / niche, and globally a week later. As a result, The Huffington Post, invited him to have a voice in its columns as a featured blogger.
This let him to have a conversation with an audience of interested parties. He asked them what they required of him. The answer was unanimous. They wanted a pro bono holistic solution to the autie / aspie suicide problem worldwide. So, he compiled a 7 Steps in 98 Days program and installed it on an email autoresponder system. He had already done research and development work using Yahoo! Answers. This guided him onto the right track by winning him Top Contributor badges. It also attracted a hacker who wiped out his home computer system so he knew he was on a winner. He was studying a BestSeller in a WeekEnd course when his computer got hacked. It took a while for him to recover, but it was from that course and the recovery that he won his success.
This book summarizes those best sellers. It targets students of High Schools, Colleges and Universities. That is the sector of modern-day society most vulnerable to suicide. It introduces an intensive suicide avoidance and prevention program of 7 steps in 7 days.
