Tribute to Mother Earth and Mother Nature

Leo Moore

Forgive them Mother Earth, for they know not what they do.

Forgive those fools Mother Earth, who showed no respect for you!

For if Mother Nature sends destruction, as a natural attack

No one would blame her, for getting those humans off your back.

Your air was so pure, so clear, and so clean.

Your vegetation, was so fresh, and so green.

They are dying today, from too much pollution.

I hope someone, will soon find a solution.

Your rivers, your lakes, your oceans, and your seas,

So blue, and so cool, like a midsummer’s breeze.

Please don’t pollute our waters, you humans I plead,

With all the waste, that big business don’t need.

Forgive them Mother Earth, for they know not what they do.

Forgive those fools Mother Earth, who showed no respect for you.

For if Mother Nature sends destruction, as a natural attack,

No one would blame her, for getting those humans off your back.
