The Banner Boy Scouts Afloat
Here is another tale of life in the open, of jolly times on river and lake and around the camp fire, told by one who has camped out for many years.

The Banner Boy Scouts (1912)
This initial volume tells how the news of the scout movement reached the boys and how they determined to act on it. They organized the Fox Patrol, and some rivals organized another patrol. More patrols were formed in neighboring towns and a prize was put up for the patrol scoring the most points in a many-sided contest. How the boys won over a crabbed old man who hated all boys, and how they went to the rescue in cases of great danger is well told.

The Banner Boy Scouts on a Tour
This story begins with a mystery that is most unusual. Then follows a long tour of Rattlesnake Mountain, taken by the boys of the Fox Patrol. There is a good deal of fun and adventure camping, fishing, and swimming, and the young heroes more than once prove their worth. Once they get lost on the road in the darkness, and find a curious cave. In the end the mystery is cleared away, and the lads show what it means to be prepared for any emergency.

The Banner Boy Scouts Snowbound
The boys comprising the original Red Fox Patrol won the beautiful banner they own in open competition with other rival organizations. From that day, now far in the past, Stanhope Troop has been known as the Banner Boy Scouts. Its possession has always served as an inspiration to Paul and his many staunch comrades. Every time they see its silken folds unfurled at the head of their growing marching line they feel like renewing the vows to which they so willingly subscribed on first joining the organization.
