Cloud Dancing: A Short Short Story Collection is, just that, a short story collection. It consists of three short stories, all loosely related by the themes of love and understanding.

The first story, 'Cloud Dancing', is a brief encounter between a man and a woman on Kite Hill. He is daydreaming, wishing away the day. She arrives to, perhaps, bring him back to reality. He pines for a simpler time, an easier time, but his quest for what WAS has blinded him to what IS.

The second story, 'Bobby Gentry, I Hate Your Guts!', is (somewhat) based on a true event. Two siblings set out to find adventure and, predictably, run into trouble. Their personal rivalry reaches the breaking point, only to be grounded by mutual admiration.

The third, and final, story of the collection is 'Run'. It is a story about a boy and a dog, and the difficulty of having to say good-bye.
