The heat is on when these police heroes find themselves in situations far worse than they had anticipated, and their families are threatened and in grave danger. We take you through the most brutal murder scenes that naturally affect the family lives of the good cops in unimaginable ways. There is immense pressure within the force! Corruption exists in the police force, as it does everywhere, right up to the highest ranks, with individuals selling to the highest bidder, selling out their own colleagues! This story is a perfect example of how the feared dog unit and detective branch work together in solving the worst possible crimes.

The country is recovering from the recent apartheid era, yet most locals are still clinging to their own beliefs and traditions. They are involved in a struggle from within: Not to succeed in the new society, into which they have now been launched. Tribal customs and values, versus modern social values! Being overwhelmed and blinded by bitterness against ‘former’ South Africans, versus the will to unite as a single nation and strive as a team to greatness; the allure of the easy life, versus making use of opportunities to work towards honesty.

Warning: Some scenes are horrific and very descriptive at that, certainly not for young children! This suspense-filled, action-packed crime story displays immense violence and gruesome scenes. It is allegedly based around realistic events, and therefore makes use of occasional aggressively-foul language and adult scenes. You will be shocked at what is allegedly covered up, as if it never existed, while all our lives are in danger!

This book is the first in a series of crime stories, possibly the first in a trilogy!
