Belles Vengeance, Book Three

Belle had been shot, and had to spend some time in the hospital. The shot had passed through her left arm, and into her chest. It had stopped about an inch from her heart. When Jack came up the the hospital to visit her, she made him promise not to hunt down the shooter without herself. "Do we know anything about him?? she asked. "Better than that," said Jack. "The creep left his wallet, and his name is Ron Black. We know where he lives, and Bill, the police chief has a library about this guy. "The doctor told me, if I don't get an inflammation, I can be released at last call tomorrow evening." It turned out as the doctor had said, after the last doctor's call Belle was released. However the doctor told her to be still, and not to aggravate the wounds. But as soon as Belle came home, the first thing she did was to go through the papers jack had amassed about this Ron Black. When she looked through some government papers, she noticed that Ron's Uncle Ted Black owned a hunting lodge up north. Jack got her to cool down a bit, and he promised to drive her up next morning.to this hunting lodge. Coming up they went into a local store and asked if a friend of their had been up hunting. What's the name of your friend asked this clerk. Ron Black answered Belle. Yes he came up a few days ago, he is at his Uncle Ted's hunting lodge. Coming close to this property, Belle saw Ron standing outside the lodge holding a rifle. She went right up to him and told him to lay down his rifle, and slowly walk towards the car. Faster than Belle thought possible, Ron jumped around the corner of the lodge. Belle only got one shot away, that hit Ron in one of his feet. With Jack going after two of Ron's friends, they all three of them succeeded to drive away in Ron's car. As Jack had been shot, Belle drove down to the closest hospital, there she saw Ron's car, and after have called the police, Jack and Belle went in after the three criminals.
