Grace Parker …
Graces’ parents had paid for her to go on a cruise. She was waiting for her divorce to be final. Her marriage to Charlie had left her lonely and anti-men after his emotional abuse…
Alex Papadakos …
Alex’ divorce was finalized. He turned down a single cruise with his friends and instead chose to go on a quieter family cruise. He was finished with all women until he saw the gorgeous woman in the royal blue butterfly bikini…
Their time together was intense…
“Grace, when was the last time that you ate, or drank anything?” It was time to bring the caregiver out.
She smiled just a little, and it tore my guts out. “Alex, I didn’t eat anything earlier because I wanted to fit into that string slingshot.” She giggled, and I couldn’t help but laugh with her. “So not only am I on fire, but I’m starved half to death, and thirsty too. What do you think we should do first?”
I know what I wanted to do, but that was not one of the choices. I examined Grace systematically to see how dire her situation was. “You haven’t seen how bad you are burned yet, have you?” She shook her head slightly. The mirror was on the other side of the wall from her bed. “Come and see for yourself.”
