丹毒是指皮肤突然发红,色如涂丹的一种急性感染性疾病。丹毒好发于小腿及面部。其特点为突然发热恶寒、头痛、患部皮肤突然出现水肿性红斑,焮热肿胀,红斑迅速向四周扩散,数日可愈,容易反复发作,在小腿部可引起橡皮腿。本病发生常为足癣或皮肤黏膜破碎、或皮肤擦破等原因导致毒邪趁隙而入、热入营血所致。若病发于头面部,多挟风热;若病发于腰胯部,多挟肝火湿热,若发于下肢,多为湿热下注,化为火毒所致;若发于小儿,多为内热火毒所致。对丹毒的治疗,以采取凉血清热,解毒化淤为总治则。若发于头面部以疏风清热解毒为主,发于腰胯部,宜清肝泄热,利湿;发于下肢者,以清热解毒、利湿为主。
