骨结核中医称为骨痨，又称流痰，多继发于肺结核，但在发现骨结核时，肺部病烂已愈。这是因为结核菌入体后，多数被肌体消灭，少数形成结核菌栓子，潜伏在某些组织中，当患者抗病能力衰退时，潜伏的病灶乘机活动，形成骨结核，发病部位以脊柱、髋关节为多见。临床表现以疼痛、肿胀，压痛，功能障碍为主。
