During the many incidents experienced while working as a staff nurse in A & E, patients, visitors and colleagues would say; "Someone ought to put that in a book". She did and this is the hilarious result.
Kirsty and Simon attended the Accident and Emergency department together, both on a single ambulance stretcher and partly dressed, covered by an ambulance issue blanket. Arriving in the side room, they moved gingerly from the ambulance trolley, again together, and after a bit of prompting, gave the reason for attendance.
It appeared that in order to spice up their sex life, both Kirsty and Simon had had their genitalia pierced and unfortunately whilst in the throes of passion they had become firmly stuck together.
Beginning to panic, the pair sized up their options. They decided against calling friends or family for help and debated whether to call the fire service instead. Simon could recall how helpful they had been when his younger brother had got his hand caught in a grate a few years previously! Eventually, they came to the decision to call an ambulance …….
