This is a story of a young love born and nurtured in letters from across the ocean between an Army officer stationed in Europe and his sister-in-laws much younger sister, a pen pal relationship that changed this “insignificant kid” to the most important person in his life, a relationship that grew from a high school girls crush and a young mans reticence, to a marriage of forty-one years and a love that stayed strong for a lifetime.
