When Eva takes a trip to Europe by herself, she doesn’t expect her tour guide, Ewan McLane, to be a gorgeous Scotsman – or a werewolf. She just wants to enjoy her trip without Ewan’s sexy presence flustering her at every turn. No way he’s interested in a chubby thirty year old like Eva.
Then Ewan protects her from a pack of dangerous wolves and the truth comes out – he’s an alpha wolf destined to keep her safe. But can Ewan protect Eva from his own wolfish desire to mate with her and claim her as his own?
Warning: This 10,600 word story contains graphic love scenes between a hot alpha werewolf and a big beautiful woman.

The cold air burned her lungs as she charged down the street. She turned into alleys, broke onto a new street, but she couldn’t find anyone. It was as if all of Paris was deserted. Or maybe it was just this neighborhood.
Sobs rocked her entire body, and she ducked against a wall and fought to catch her breath. “Ewan,” she whispered into the night. “Where are you?”
Something snarled from the darkness, and she whipped her head around.
Eyes glowed in the shadows, and the wolf jumped out and brought her to the ground. It lapped at her face with its rough tongue and its claws ripped at her clothes. She wanted to push it off, but she was frozen in fear. This creature could kill her!
And why were there wolves in Paris?
It opened its mouth, ready to bite her, when the pale wolf lunged at it. They rolled off Eva and across the ground. She scrambled to sit up, and caught the pale wolf as he bit into the other ones throat. Blood spilled over the cobblestones, and Eva screamed for the third time.
Then the pale wolf looked at her. It had blue eyes that shone in the darkness, and as it stepped toward her, the wolf form shifted back into Ewan.
He stood naked in front of her and held out his bloody hand. “I told you not to run, lass. They like a chase.”
Eva leaned against the wall for support and stood up, not taking his hand. She didn’t know what to say or what to think. Her tour guide turned into a werewolf. How often did something like that happen?
“I – I have to go,” she cried and ran again.
She had to get away from him. He just killed a man – and he was a werewolf!
But what was she supposed to do? Go to the police? They’d think she was crazy?
Eva stumbled over the cobblestones and fumbled for her phone. It slipped out of her sweaty palms three times before she finally got a firm grip on it. Just as she was getting ready to call someone, Ewan grabbed her from behind.
“That’s not going to do you any good, lass. I told you we like a good chase,” he growled and turned her around.
Eva’s breath caught in her throat and she stared at the man in front of her. His bare chest heaved and he flicked his tongue over his lips.
“Let me go,” she whimpered.
“Not when I have you like this. I said I’d protect you, Evangeline, and I did,” he said and his mouth brushed hers.
