Author Trish Silver attended the University of Cincinnati’s School of Journalism, where a semantics teacher encouraged her to pursue writing. A Midwest native, Silver ended up in Los Angeles during the turbulent ’60s. Around the same time, she realized she wanted to become a wife and mother. “Wizzie the Wonder Dog Saves the Day,” is the first in a series of children’s picture book series. Silver, along with her partner, Lynne Berger, are working on their sequel of the Wizzie’s series.
Ms. silver is an animal activist and does believe in animal testing.
