Jason can't go one day without being called gay at school. Not that anyone except his three girls actually know, but because he's shy, intelligent, and particularly lacking interest in sports. Life had been simple in rural Pennsylvania under the care of his bible-thumping, yet hilariously cussing mother, but it had everything it needed to get more interesting or even difficult. Noticing more guys, especially his older brother's friend, make it difficult for him to repress the only side that wants more than anything to glisten and squeal at the thought of fashion, interior design, and of course boys. School takes a back burner as urges to commit "sins of the flesh," as his mother would put it, take their course. A terrible truth-based rumor, one involving him and his brother's friend, surfaces when the worst of that taunts are expected to begin wailing upon him. To his surprise, he is growing in popularity; though it may be too fast.
A plethora of new friends and the eye catching, overly handsome Danny inadvertently spew the truths he has worked so hard to keep silent. On their path to Danny's end of terrible boyfriends, and Jason's development as a young gay man; Jason falls in love. They create new bonds with everyone they meet and share a friendship that could have been so much more. Marijuana induced fits of laughter, witchcraft, and his sister's new boyfriend build to the moment when Jason's mother would sever the relationship between the boys, and take away the life they had made. Separated, they grow on their own and soon find each other again; making it the happiest day of their lives. Unfortunately this was the beginning of Seth's worst day.
