This ebook is a non-fiction picture essay about the adventures of two friends (Jim & Ed) as they fly fish for trout from a drift boat in the Holston River, Tennessee.

The two friends have always wanted to use a drift boad to fish the Coosa River in Alabama for bass and crappie. However, when they discover that the only guided drift boat fishing guides in Alabama have retired, they decide to search elsewhere. They explore purchasing a drift boat; but they discover that they would probably have to go out west to find a used boat. Instead, they search and search until they find an experienced outfitter/guide in Tennessee who uses the Cadillac of all drift boats - the Clackacraft.

The two friends book a drift boat fishing trip on the Holston River only to find out that a series of storms is fast approaching from the west. They decide to make a run for it to stay ahead of the storms. The boat is launched; and the two quickly find out how little they each know about fly fishing. After some training by the guide, the two fishermen get the hang of it and catch trout all day long.

What starts out as a potential disaster turns into a great fishing trip. The two friends get off the river just as the major storm is apporaching; and they drive back home in a torrent of rain - happy, happy, happy. The rainy trip quickly turns in to a planning activity for their next drift boat trip.

The book is loaded with photographs of the remote river fishing trip - nothing like the movie "Deliverance".
