Have you wondered, when time flies, how high or how fast does it go? In "When Time Flies," "Time" becomes a whimsical goose (because it can fly!) who then defies the language the goose is trapped in. The goose humorously answers these questions about time through puns and playful illustrations, making the common subject of "time" into something thought-provoking, accessible, and fun.

For example, to portray "Time To Go," our goose is hanging out of a Chinese restaurant "To Go" box. In "A Head of Time," all we see is our goose's head popping out from behind a wall, in line with two potted plants. Toward the end of the book, the reader is given the opportunity to continue with self-created images in the "Space for Time Continuing" pages.

This always fun book includes quotes from famous people as well as from the author. For example, from Oscar Levant: "So little time and so little to do." And from the author: "If seconds were potato chips and you were running overtime, then you’d really have a time crunch."

Great gift book or for coffee tables and waiting rooms.

This first book in the series is full color.
