This book is a take on the recent events in the US, regarding racism and its impact on America. I present my argument from a Latino's point of view. As a Chicano, I watch how the black community is being impacted in a negative way by certain forces which do not have them or this country in their best interest. I look at the issue through "brown eyes," and compare much of what's happening from the perspective of a person of color whose people have suffered colonization by several nations, and still choose to view the US as my own nation. I argue that the color of our skin must not be the factor that drives us, but instead we must be motivated by the reality of being an American. I also argue that the force which is trying to railroad the black "movement" is a Leftist driven group of people whose only goal is to reshape the United States into their own personal version of what I believe will result in the people being completely dependent and at the mercy of a "Left-wing government" that does not care about them.
