An ex-cop with a dark past...
A heroin addict looking for redemption...
A hit man with a God-complex...

All on a collision course in a forsaken land.

Without warning, an outbreak strikes viciously. The people infected regress into primal killing machines. Crazies, zombies, abominations. The names don't matter because the results are the same: the infected kill indiscriminately with their hands and teeth.

The survivors are few and they soon learn the infected are the least of their worries. In this forsaken land, there are normal people willing to take advantage of the situation. Willing to declare themselves god. And God help any who stand in their way.

WALKING SHADOWS - A Novel of the End of the World

***Author's Note*** - This isn't a typical zombie book. Not to spoil anything but if you want a tale about zombies chasing people all over the place for the entire book, this isn't for you. This is a book about flawed and dangerous people dealing with the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. I hate using the term "plot device" but as nuclear war is often used as a plot device for post-apocalyptic fiction, so too are my zombies. And just as the nuclear bombs don't keep going off in those books, neither do my zombies keep gnawing on people.
