I hope you are a regular walker since it is one of the best exercises to maintain health. What do you think about when you walk? Walking and Wondering reveals some of the thoughts that have occurred to me as I walk. Reading one of these meditations before or after your walk may provide some inspiration. I hope these brief essays will quicken and stimulate your thought so your walking will be more fun and enlightening. Walking with creative and positive thoughts will make your exercise a joyous experience you will want to repeat.
Joseph “Gene” Young has been a regular walker most of his life. He is a retired minister who has shared his insights through the written and spoken word. Now in his retirement (eighty-four years of age) he continues to walk and share the ideas that occur in his thinking.
Cover: The cover of this book pictures his wife, Carry, and their oldest daughter, Cheri, walking up the path from the Waipi’o Valley Lookout on the Big Island of Hawaii. Other members of his family are standing as a group at the overlook.
