After a Vietnam War protest, Karen joins the Baltimore USO to support the troops. On a trip to Paris, she meets Omar who changes her life. They visit his family in Beirut and are caught up in the horrors of war. They return to Paris and marry before moving to America. Through faith and determination, Karen brings Omars family to America to start a new life.
